Strange title huh? Seem a little absurb?

Well what if I told you for that price you got a wireless N router, that you could plug a printer into and share? Still not enough? How about a 1TB drive included that you can access from Linux, OS X, and Windows? Ya I thought that one would get you.

That right the good folks over at Apple are releasing a new router called the "Time Capsule". While it is designed to be used in conjunction with OS X 10.5 and Time Machine for backups, it will also be accessible from a Windows host, or a Linux box via CIFS (SMB).

This thing just might be the easiest option for home file sharing and backup (if it is as easy to use as they say). I say that becuase the other options would be external drive, which you would need to plug into every machine you wanted to back up. Or a home file server which would require the setup configuration and maintenance (I know some of you won't mind this).

Anyway lets see how thing pans out once it is release on Febuary 1st.

For more details on the Time Capsule check here.
